Dear Mr Rat - a Poem.by Connor DavidsonThe idea behind this poem is that it is a fictional correspondance between an rat and a human. The poem should tell you
something about us as humans...
Dear Mr Rat, Excuse me Mr Rat you are in my way, Oh, what is that you say? This is what you do every day?
Dear Mr Human, I do not like your attitude, I think it rather shrewd. For all I wish to do, Is live alongside you? Dear Mr Rat. Mr Rat you are on my land, And I say you are banned. For cities, are a human's land, Dear Mr Human. You are the top dog, Yet you act more like a stupid frog. What do you gain, From others pain? Why be so mean, To us you are most obscene, Now you see, It is this I plea - Grow up and start to consider me. Connor Davidson 04/29/09 Connor Davidson is a published freelance writer.
